2022-12-31We are still negotiaing the transfer of ownership of OJPHI to JMIR Publications. Hopefully, the negotiations will be completed in January, 2023.

A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF OJPHI OWNERSHIP TO JMIR PUBLICATIONS
2022-11-05Due to slow pace of review, OJPHI has been unable to publish more than one issue per year in the last 2 years. In ore=der to sustain the journal, we have signed a non-binding MOU with JMIR Publications, a very reputable publisher of biomedical informatics journals, to take over the the publication responsibilities after a transfer of ownership agreement is signed, not later than Decemer 31, 2022.
JMIR Publications has agreed to honor the current fee and waiver for all OJPHI papers in the pipeline. Let us all work hard to leave JMIR with very few papers in the pipeline after the agreement is signed.
